The population of European bison in Poland over the past 15 years has doubled. The annual growth of this species in Poland, is about 6-8%.
Speaking of strict protection we are not talking about the protection of individual animal, but the entire population, and for its own good, sometimes it is necessary to eliminate individuals. This is done for sick bison, which may infect others or suffering from some serious damage. Bison has no natural predators, so we must take over their role.
